Patek Philippe is synonymous with classic dress watches, the most famous of which is the Calatrava. The prototype of the Calatrava can be said to have a round, slim precious metal case with a simple dial and excellent legibility. While the core of the collection still adheres to these principles, Patek Philippe's departure from them in recent years has gone unnoticed.
